Hello 👋
This week was pretty awesome!! At the beginning of the week, Elder Salyer and I left the area and we went around saying goodbye to our friends and members. It was wonderful to hear from them about how we were able to positively impact the wards. One of our Bishops said we we're great missionaries because people could tell we actually care and love those around us 😊 That meant a lot to us!!
Transfers were on Wednesday and I am now with Elder Randall and we are having a blast!! He is super chill and go with the flow! He is also very kind hearted. I am excited to work together and our first week was great! I haven't been this diligent in a while and it felt great! We found lots of people to teach and were good at getting members involved. We have also been going around meeting a bunch of our members and they are so awesome!! They keep giving me free stuff – laundry detergent, monsters, Dr. Pepper, and great food!! We got Crumbl cookies at church on Sunday!
I also really like how BIG this area is. We went on a hill and it's just like that scene in Lion King where Mufasa says everything the light touches is yours. We get to drive around a bunch and I really enjoy it and everywhere we go we are meeting people and finding success. It is also so awesome that we live right next to the biggest shopping center of New Braunfels. We live 3 mintues away from Buc-ee's, Target, TopGolf and a bunch of other cool stuff. Our apartment is pretty nice too it's pretty big. Oh and yes – I have been to Buc-ee's a TON! 🤪🦫🥤
Ultimately this has probably been the best first week of a new area for me so far. It is a lot like my first area, Seguin, and my last area in North San Antonio put together and then multiply the size of it a bunch! So I have been able to use skills that I learned in both areas. I feel like the Lord has really prepared me for this area and that it is certainly a reward. I am excited to see the miracles the Lord works here!!
