Hello ๐Ÿ‘‹ย

“I just have three things to say; God bless our troops, God bless America, and GENTLEMAN START YOUR ENGINES!!”
-Kevin James
Happy 4th ofย July everyone!! Can't believe it's already been 250 years ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ So awesome! As missionaries we had to be inside for the evening but we still had a decent day. We had lunch and dinner with families in our ward which were good. But to be honest I was definitely trunky and missing home! This was a tough holiday to miss but I got to talk to my family a lot which was nice.ย
This whole week was kinda tough to be honest. We had a hard time seeing much success for our efforts but I am proud of us still. I felt like we did a good variety of work, knocking, street contacting, stop bys, member visits and box knocking. At the end of the day, though disappointed, I went home and would say well it's okay I did my best ๐Ÿ˜Š Which I am proud of myself for that and I think one of the reasons we had a week like this was to teach me and help me to see my own growth. There have been lots of weeks like this on my mission and when I was in Seguin if we had a week like this I would have been fuming and upset. But now I am able to recognize the presence of the Lord still and able to just brush it off and still stay diligent and do my best. It's pretty cool to see how the mission has changed me to be more patient and calm in just 9 months!!ย
This past wednesday was also the official mission split and I lost a couple good friends and companions to the south. Gonna miss Elder Salyer and Elder Bazil who were great companions โ™ฅ๏ธ And also some other friends I made like Elder Klein, Elder Bryan and Sister Broekman ๐Ÿ˜ข But it's okay because we can still be friends after the mission!! I also did get to keep a lot of my friends too so I am still pretty happy. And of course got to keep the GOAT Mission President Jim Bramwell.ย
Before the split we went to downtown San Antonio which is no longer a part our side of the mission and I got to visit the Alamo, Riverwalk, and the infamous Margaritaville!! Got some fun pictures there and a free slice of key lime pie ๐Ÿ˜‹
Elder Randall and I are doing pretty good together he reminds me a lot of my friend Rudy (shoutout) back home and so we get along pretty well. We are both chillers but hard work. Each night we come home I literally have eyebags which freaking sucks but it tells me I worked hard ๐Ÿ’ช I also enjoy being district leader, things have been going pretty well and I feel very guided by the spirit. Got pretty cool Sisters again and so they've been fun to get to know as well.ย
Also did my first Baptismal interview for a lady named Jenny and it went great and she is all ready!! Super excited for her and it was awesome to get to see the spirit work in her life. She went around visiting LOTS of churches until she finally came to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints as kinda a joke…. but she loved it and said this one she could tell was different. And that's because this church is not just another Christian church/denomination we are literally Jesus Christ's own church.
With Love,
Elder Noble
