Hope you all had a wonderful week! Mine was alright 👍 Honestly another kinda tough week out here in New Braunfels where we didn't really find any new people to teach. But we really did put forth a good effort and we knocked and stopped by a bunch of people but to no avail. However our member work went very well this week as we met with many inactive members, cleaned up a lot of records, and met some cool families. But there were a couple great things I would deem miracles!!

The first one was crazy! We went to go visit a member in the north part of our area only to discover a second gate to the neighborhood that we couldn't get past. So we changed plans and went to another family and they were great but on our way out I felt very strongly that we needed to go visit that first member. Normally I would just leave it alone and say we'll try another day. But I felt like we had to try again! So I started driving us back over there, wondering how the heck we we're gonna get in because there are very few homes in this neighborhood. But the spirit hit me like a bus and I said outloud, “God is going to provide someone to go ahead of us!” And as soon as I said that a car came flying around the corner and sped in front of us and turned down the road to where the gate was!! And so we were able to get in and had a great visit and at the end of it he said, “you know I really needed a missioary visit today.” 🙂 I totally believe it was God providing for his needs and we got to be the instruments in his hands.

Another cool miracle this week was when we went to try and meet a member we knew nothing about. Only to end up meeting his widow who said he passed away in 2022 and she and him we're never really members. We explained to her about how the church needs a death certificate so we can close out his record and she said she had a ton and she legit just handed us one out of nowhere!! I've had to deal with this situation before on my mission but never has anyone just given it to us so easily! We ended up talking to her for a bit and set up to go visit her this upcoming week 😄

But after that it got even crazier!! When our conversation was over it started dumping rain out of nowhere which stopped our plans of knocking as we got in the car. And if you know me I hate walking in the rain because it makes my glasses wet and then I can't see anything. But as soon as we got in the car we got a media referal!! We called him and he answered on the first ring and told us yes he responded to the ad because he really needs Jesus Christ!! We spoke to him and he was honestly elect. And then as soon as we hung up the phone the rain just stopped. Like completely just stopped raining on us at once and it never did rain on us again that day. I believe that God provided us someone to teach for a 14 minute phone call for the 14 mintues of rain that was overhead. Maybe God didn't stop the rain for us but he surely put that man in our path. 

So as for this week, despite the challenges and opposition we faced. We didn't give up, we didn't let up, we kept on pressing forward. Having Faith in Jesus Christ that he would place where we needed to be and that he would provide for us. Thus we saw the fulfillment of Doctrine and Covenants 98:3 “Therefore, he giveth this promise unto you, with an immutable covenant that they shall be fulfilled; and all things wherewith you have been afflicted shall work together for your good, and to my name’s glory, saith the Lord.” Our reward hasn't necessarily came yet but we will keep working. For we have seen miracles admist our trials. I ask for your prayers, your prayers that we can find those who are ready to be taught by the spirit of the Lord 🙏 And thank you to those who have been.
