Howdy Yall! Sorry for not writing in the past few weeks it's been extremely busy. First off for transfer news I will be staying in this area and doing anotha' one. There will be some changes as our zone is splitting and the zone leaders are actually moving in with us but that's exciting cause I will get to live in a 4 elder again! For this email I want to focus on some really cool miracles we have seen recently!
1. We have some members in one of our wards who have a niece who wanted to meet with us. This niece has been inactive pretty much her whole life and has some probelms going on in her life but she wanted a blessing. So we spoke to her and answered her questions about the church and then gave her that blessing. The members then told me that since we gave her the blessing she has been doing good and has said, “there is no way he could've known that!” Lol I don't even remember what I said.
2. We put our friend Vicky on date and we asked her when she wanted to be baptized and she said she felt like May 16 was the right day!! The cool thing is that is the same date we came up with as her goal 6 weeks ago!!! So inspiring. Please pray for her, she has some health concerns right now.
3. Two sundays ago I gave a talk in the Indian Springs Ward and I was only given a days notice. I decided to just go off the dome and the spirit and it went great! I spoke for ten mintues on the importance of sharing the light of christ by following his example. It was fun!!
4. Sister Ward shared a scripture with me at the right time! So inspired! It's 2 Nephi 31:3
“For my soul delighteth in plainness; for after this manner doth the Lord God work among the children of men. For the Lord God giveth light unto the understanding; for he speaketh unto men according to their language, unto their understanding.”
5. We went to the De Los Santos family just for a quick visit and they would not stop feeding us and bringing us food to try!! We had posole, grilled chicken, fajitas, tres leches, and chocolate strawberries!! I was full Haha! 😆
6. THE BIG ONE: We took Kenny to the temple to baptisms!! It was so awesome and extra tender because Elder Bazil, my last companion, and it was great getting to see him again!
7. We keep finding inactive members!! Found anotha' one this week and they are wanting to come back to church! So cool!
