Wow yall!! What a happy and joyful week. This week we had transfers again – can't believe I am already at 8 transfers now. And my beloved companion RANDY (Elder Randall) got transferred out and I do miss him and his comments he would make throughout the day lol. But this transfer I am training and it has been so much fun! 😄

First off, I got to go to the special meeting for trainers right before transfers and it was so awesome to get some special instruction from the the Bramwells on how important and sacred training is. And then the fun part came where the brand new missionaries filed into the chapel and sat in front while all of us trainers sat in the back of the pews. One by one they paired each of us up and I am telling you being the trainer is so much more fun at this then when I was a new missionary lol. I remember being so nervous, shy, and low key terrified but now this time I'm just sitting there in the back swaying back and forth giggling and cheering with each name called and just having an all around BLAST 💥 🤣 

And then it was my turn and President asked me to say my iconic catchphrase “Hello 👋” for all the new missionaries and I did! And guess what I got the greatest trainee of them all!! 🥳 His name is Elder Thunell from Heber City, UT and he is a stud. He is kinda small but don't let that fool you, he is a spiritual GIANT!! I have just been blown away by him. And so this email is a little longer because Elder Thunell has worked some serious miracles. But first off we are like a PERFECT companionship we feel the spirit the same ways and see everything the same way. We both are chill and hard workers who love the Lord Jesus Christ. Training him and showing him the ropes while still fulfilling my district leader responsibilities (which have increased a lot surprisingly) has been a ton of work just 24/7 but I am filled with so much joy. We have so much fun together and are loving to become close friends 🤗

On his first day we went to the church for a second and I had him call his Mom for 10 mintues and when he came back he was a little emotional – which is normal obviously – I was that way too. But he told me it was because he was so happy to be here! He said “I have this desire to tell everybody about the joy they can experience from Jesus Christ because I feel so much of it! And I am so happy to finally be here.” And let me tell you the Holy Ghost hit me over like a BUS 🚌 We had an incredible heart to heart from the get go and I said to him “You will see and do things you cannot imagine.” I truly understand my purpose here was to prepare what will become one of the greatest missionaries this mission has ever seen. I know for a fact that by his own hand he will be the means of touching thousands of lives. 

I have loved also how I have been learning from him. He sees no numbers, and is incredible at loving people and just wanting to testify more than anything. We haven't “found” many people to teach this week but we have testified to a lot and sometimes I walk away dissapointed with the outcome being not what I hoped for…. but he walks away feeling joyful and triumphant. 🏆 His invitations he gives to people as well are super unique and personal and he's thought of the most beautiful things I never would've thought of. We invited one friend to not only read the Book of Mormon but to ponder how can he make Jesus Christ his rock this week. We also keep connecting every prayer we say to Enos and our conversations have been mind-blowing 🤯

One crazy thing that happened was that on Saturday we we're driving and he just shouted “TURN AROUND” and said the spirit told him we needed to go talk to a man who was kneeling down in a field. I didn't even see the dude and was like okay I guess and we ended up pulling up right alongside him. His name was John and he said that he was crying out to God right there. He was low key a little interesting and looked like a Mexican Albert Einstein but the conversation Elder Thunell had with him about Jesus Christ was insane. I was just stunned so much I didn't say anything really. Turns out he lives in the other Elders area and so they are going to go teach him and hopefully it goes well!! 

One last cool tender mercy from the Lord is that our most progressing friend, Mina, is on a solo vacation in Istanbul, Turkey. He texted us that when he got off the plane in Turkey while waiting to get his bags he spoke to a couple who were members from Hayden, Idaho!! They exchanged numbers and have been talking about the church while on their trip. And then Mina found a small congregation of our church and went and he said they sang the same songs and gave testimonies just like in america!! So cool to see how the Lord is in relentless pursuit of Mina. ❤️

But anyways yall I am so excited for this transfer this is for sure going to be a favorite. Every day is a blast and I am so happy to be blessed with this incredible responsibility to train and to labor with Elder Thunell in this part of the Lord's vineyard. Miracles abound everyday I am learning – we just need to have the gratitude to see them 🙏 Can't wait to tell yall about more miracles we see. I know the Lord has big things in store for us.
