Howdy Yall!!

Sorry for not emailing last week it has been very busy. The transfers are flying by so fast and I am having lots of fun! This transfer is speeding up with things that were once weeks away are now weeks past! The work never stops. And it is wonderful to see how the Lord guides this work.
It's absolutely true that Jesus Christ is the leader of this church and of our work here in Seguin. Now that my training is over and we no longer do any extra studies, we have even more time to be out spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. With that said, we have been especially praying for the Lord to put us in the right place at the right time and for Him to place people in our path to meet. It's pretty crazy to see how much the Lord answers our prayers! Multiple times each day it happens where we pull up when someone comes outside or they pull up when we walk past their house. My favorite is when we are doing a stop by of an old friend and we knock the door and then a car pulls in the driveway and they go “oh good we've been wondering where yall were!” That happens a lot more than you would guess and it's happened a lot the past few weeks.
Some cool things that have happened lately are we put our friend Bryan on date for baptism in Feburary. Taught our friend Lawerence about the Temple and felt the spirit so much! Had a inactive member, our friend Joel, come back to church for the first time in 26 years. And Joel was orriginally one of those right place right times! He had pulled up and got out the car and we asked if his neighbor was home and he said no but come talk to me!! Now he is back and enjoying the blessings of the fullness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We also had another friend Bryan (a different one lol) show up to church for the first time in a long time. We have started teaching him again and it has been BLACK and WHITE difference of how well it is now going!!! The Lord has really softened his heart and he is feeling the spirit more and more. He told us we bring the spirit into his home and he likes the way it feels. Also last Sunday I gave an excellent talk on Living with Conviction in our Covenants. The study and preparation for it was super spiritual and deep and it turned out to be a great talk! I may send it to my website cachenoble.com to be posted there too. We'll see!!
As a missionary in Seguin you also help at Joe Matlocks property nicknamed the LifeBoat. He is preparing a doomsday shelter lol. The past few weeks I got to set up security cameras and security lights around the property. I love Joe because he is the funniest and has so much lore. He is a Vietnam veteran and retired marine who writes books and movies now lol. You can find his “hit” of a book titled The Servant on Amazon lol. The other day he casually dropped the line of, “I told my trainee to not open the gate because it was probably boobytrapped and would explode. He didn't believe me and he opened it and then blew up.” We asked, “the fence did or he did?” Joe responded saying, “Half of him went this way and the other went that way!” It's crazy how nonchalant he said it.
Also this just in! As some may know my mission is splitting. The new Texas San Anotonio South Mission will be formed on July 1, 2026 and will be taking the greater chunk of San Antonio and the mexican border from our current mission. It will also be incorporating parts of the McAllen mission including Corpus Cristi. Recently it was announced President Martin Rios from Argentina will be leading the new mission. The current mission will continue as the Texas San Antonio North Mission under the direction of President Jim Bramwell. We will know which mission we will be in at the transfer in May. To me there is pros and cons to both missions and the whole situation is sort of stressful to think about.
But this leads into my spiritual thought. It's scary and anxious to think the way mission is right now will be completely different in less than 6 months. This is how the Lord Jesus Christ felt in Gethsemane when He pleaded with his father to remove the bitter cup from him. Yesterday was Stake Conference and Elder Matthew L. Carpenter of the Seventy spoke saying that the bitter cup was Jesus's mission of performing the atonement for the sins of all mankind. And Jesus himself was scared and anxious. But he said, “Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.” (Luke 22:42) For me this mission split is my own bitter cup that I, and every other missionary in the TSAM must drink from. And while it may not be our will, we can trust in the Father and let him do his will. No matter what side of the new divide I end up on, I know it'll be the will of the Father. And for all of you reading this, ponder upon what may be your bitter cup. What is something in your life that is difficult and challenging? Consider how you can better subject yourself to the will of the Father and drink from it. You will be blessed for it! Think about what happened after Christ drank his cup and completed his divine mission. He was resurrected and given eternal glory at the right hand of the Father!
Pictured below is Me and Joe Matlock heading home from the LifeBoat. Our apartment of Elders with Buffalo in the background. Elder Walker and I with the Johnson family, one of our favorite members here who we have an intense BYU vs Texas Tech rivalry with lol. And Elder Walker and I with our Zone Leaders – Elder Davis and Elder Theobald. I love yall and have a wonderful week!!
With Love,
