6 Months!!!

Hello 👋

What a great final week of the transfer I had! Last Sunday was exactly 6 months from the time I was set apart as a missionary and so now I am a “respectable” age lol. No longer new but also not quite a old missionary! This week I did a lot of reflecting on how it has gone so far and I am probably at one of the happiest points in my life thus far.
A mission has brought me closer to the Lord Jesus Christ, helped me understand who my Heavenly Father is and who I am as a divine son of a loving Heavenly Father. I am grateful for the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ because we believe that each and every single person is literally a beloved and divine spirit child who is loved perfectly and individually. 😇
I also feel that my mission has brought me closer to my earthly parents and family as their constant support and guidance have aided me well! And I am so blessed to be able to share their testimonies in addition to mine. Our family is such a powerful witness of the Lord's timing and blessings and I am grateful for that. I have also been able to make lots of friends, friends I am sure to be close with for years to come and I love the friends I made this transfer and can't wait to be reunited with friends in other areas and those back home.
This week had a couple cool things! 😎 First off we have a new friend Vicky who is doing so awesome! We had some members join us for an incredible lesson and by the end of it she brought up to us that baptism is on her mind and we haven't even gotten to saying anything about that yet! 🌊
We also had our friend Bryan come to church as well which was a pleasant surprise since we kind of fell out of contact this week. But sure enough we got there and he was already seated and told us he decided he needed to come!! It's awesome seeing people use their power of agency for good without being exhorted too! 😄
This week we also got to do service for a wonderful elderly couple named Chuck and Mary. We painted a fence for them and then they bought us lunch which was the new meme of the Big Arch from McDonald's and it was actually pretty good we all thought!
On Sunday morning we weren't feeling too happy and we we're praying to the Lord for peace and help. And wow! God sure does answer prayers. 🙏 We had a great time during church and talked about very relevant things that helped me a lot personally, and then we got a pleasant surprise on our way out of the church! The SML's (Social Media Leaders) left us little heart notes with kind and encouraging messages and scriptures taped all over our car! What wonderful sisters we have gotten to serve with and they were truly a blessing in that moment and we really appreciated their support and christlike love. 😊
Transfer news came this week as well and to be honest it poses new and unique opportunities and challenges for this upcoming transfer. I will get the privilege to serve in this area again, this time with Elder Salyer who will be taking over as DL. I have only heard good things about him and am super excited! But… we will a part time trio as a service missionary named Elder Flethcer will be going with us throughout the day but not the night. It will be really interesting as we are assigned to help him in a transition from service missionary to teaching missionary. I am a little concerned on how it will go so I am asking for prayers. I can feel them and I am grateful to the strength I received from your prayers last transfer! 😇 Also our district is sadly being split in half meaning I will see less of my new friends. The half I am in will be a unique “Sistrict” compromised of us and only sisters. It will be the SML's, Sisters Hall and Wood, and each of their new trainees. I am excited to continue serving with them but will miss serving around fellow Elders as much.
It is sad that Elder Bazil will be leaving me now. I really enjoyed our friendship and we really helped the area improve and grow. Member trust is through the roof and it feels like they really do love and support us!! Couldn't have done it without such a wonderful companion. He will now be going to serve on Fort Sam Houston. We are going to enjoy these last few days together and as of writing this email we just had an awesome experience where some members asked if he could feed their baby and it was so adorable!! I put a picture below! I love yall and am grateful for each of your prayers!! 🙏 Have a wonderful week!
With Love,
Elder Noble
