First time getting cast out, how’d I do?

Hello 👋

Hey yall this week has so much happen and every single day was so much fun with miracles abounding!! I'll be going in order so I can remember it all because it feels like last Monday was forever ago but it went by fast.
Monday: Elder Bazil and I had our first P-Day together and wow I realized how awesome our area is! It reminded me of the song Finer Things by Post Malone becasue we live in the bougiest area ever 😅 We went shopping at a super target and HEB plus, and then met up as a district to play Frisbee golf ⛳️ It was fun and very relaxed so I am sure we will play lots this transfer. We then got Taco Bell and then lit our trash on fire in the Church parking lot on accident lol. 🤫 We then hiked a members property since we live in Hill Country there is actual places with steep hills and hiking areas. Then we went to a members place nicknamed “the Barn” where there is a pool table and a set up for us missionaries to go and play games and call home!
Tuesday: We went and did service at a local food bank. It was cooled but not as fun as Christian Cupboard back in Seguin. Then we had 2 super spiritually powerful lessons with our friends. One of which is named Kenny and he is preparing for baptism and is literally the greatest friend we've ever had!! I love him so much and his desire to do what is right in the eyes of God is so admirable. I felt the spirit a lot this day too. The Lord really has been strengthing me as I have been praying. And many have said they'll pray for me and thank you so much to those who are!!! Because I can FEEL it. I swear one second I can feel so discouraged and out of no where I feel so strong and ready to JUMP IN to the work.
Wednesday: I got to go on an exchange with Elder Eatchel and Elder Taylor in Canyon Lake. It's such a beautiful area and I got to ride around in a 2025 Tacoma all day and it was awesome. We met some cool people including one dude who had a Japanese coi pond in his backyard lol??? 🐟 Super random but whatever floats the boat I guess. Then we had dinner at the biggest house I have ever been to and it had incredible views!
Thursday: So many miracles this day!!! We had so much fun. But the greatest part was getting to see the Clark's from back home in Spokane. They took us to Chuys, a Mexican place we've been wanting to try, and it was pretty good!! It was great getting to talk to them and the conversation we had really lifted my spirits and was so much. If they're reading this, thank you so much!!!! Also on this day I got a package from my Aunt Morgan!!! It was so sweet and I got a bunch of candy, a Texas Tie and a football! It's great because now we have something to throw which I have been missing a lot! I learned how to throw a football with Elder Williams and missed it a lot so it's veen very nice to have my own now! Thank you Aunt Morgan!
Friday: Started with service for Sister Craig's, the mission nurse, neighbor. As a district we laid down an entire yard of sod. Was straight out of minecraft putting the grass down and it was a lot of fun! Later in the day we knocked on a door and our new friend Tarek opened it and invited us in immediately. He served us diet coke and then told us he was a former Muslim professor and lawyer from Egypt. He is no longer Muslim so he was really interested in talking to us about Jesus Christ and we invited him to church and will be heading back this week to meet again!!
Saturday: This day was a lot harder tbh!!! But the spirit was super strong 💪 🙌 First off a service missionary came out with us, and it went alright but idk bro was literally scrolling reels the whole time I think lol. And we also just had so much rejection but we pushed back against it and in the end found 3 new people to teach and hit all of our weekly goals. This was also the first day I ever got cast out!!! In one of the apartment complexes a lady on a golf cart rolled up and told us we needed to leave because we were soliciting. We explained we weren't soliciting or asking for anything. We said we are just talking about Jesus and her response was that is still weird that we do that. And then Elder Bazil like the stud he is said, well can we say a prayer with you?! I was so proud cause I love being bold. She wasn't too happy and told us to start leaving and so we did. That was my first time being cast out and we low-key handled it super well!!
Sunday: Epic Sabath day! Church was awesome. Kenny came early and we had a lesson with him, and then sat with him at church. The talks were all amazing 👏 Then we had a ward missionary coordinating meeting that went great, seriously the most Sigma ward ever lol. Then we had dinner with a Packard family. I say A Packard family because there are so many Packard families. There are Packards in pretty much every ward of the stake. And guess what!!! They are related to Elder Walker and literally had his picture on their fridge!!! Turns out the Packard family is an extension of the walker family! At this rate I'll probably end up marrying a walker because I can't escape their touch somehow LOL 🤣 But anyways what an epic family and we made sourdough bread together and ate a great dinner!!
Sorry this email was so long yall but what a great week it was!!! I hope yall have a great week and here is a scripture that stood out to me this week:
“Therefore, hold up your light that it may shine unto the world. Behold I am the light which ye shall hold up—that which ye have seen me do. Behold ye see that I have prayed unto the Father, and ye all have witnessed.” 3 Nephi 18:24
With Love,
Elder Noble
