Hello ๐ย
This past week has been very exciting and lots of fun!!! Today is my birthday and it's crazy I am already 19 this last year went by so FAST!! I also have now been out on my mission for 4 months which feels like I just got here and it is flying by. These past 2 transfers with Elder Walker has been one of the most fun and happiest times of my life!!! He and I have become really great best friends and enjoyed this last week together!!ย
This past week we had lots of successful lessons, 4 new friends at Church, and felt the spirit guide us so much. ๐ Some funny things that happened were the young women asked Elder Walker and I to teach their Sunday School Class yesterday and it went great! Also Brother Johnson whose become a good friend of ours, one whose family we have an intense BYU vs. Texas Tech rivalry with, he unbuttoned my shirt at church! Bruh! He came up to me and was like your tie is crooked and started fixing it but he actually unbuttoned a few of my buttons and it took me 20 mintues to realize! So embarrassing but honestly hilarious and epic prank!! ๐คฃ He was really nice and told me it's been a while since they had a missionary as good as me!! So kind of him and meant a lot to be friends! Also on Saturday we had an incredible dinner with the Henry's who are just wonderful down to earth people I love. They had let us make our own homemade pizzas and we got to talk a lot about missionary work!!
On Saturday night came the transfer news!! I will be leaving Seguin and moving to Northern San Antonio to cover the Summerglen Hills Ward and Indian Springs Ward. These areas are pretty nice and are very dense in population!! Please pray for me I will need it ๐
But I hear the members are pretty awesome there and I can expect to be fed there quite a bit!! I will be serving with Elder Cash Bazil. Pretty crazy they put Cash with Cache LOL ๐ He will be the District Leader which means I will go on lots of exchanges with other Elders in the area!! I look forward to those new experiences.
But there are certainly some mixed feelings for me right now! I have been in Seguin for so long that it's all I really know and this new area is going to be a lot different! But I trust in my Savior and I know he will support me. I have made lots of great friends here that I've taught that will be surely missed and I have been very grateful for the ward I am in. Some of the families in the ward were real friends to us and I'll miss them!!ย
I really like this scripture that Elder Walker shared in our lesson for the young women;
Genesis 28:15
“And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.”
Well yall because today is my birthday I've kept it short because there are celebrations to be had ๐ป we are going to Texas Roadhouse, I think the other Elders will peer pressure me to get on the saddle ๐ฌ
With Love,
Elder Noble
